In this program, we will cover nearly 170 miles of this amazing line between Redding, California and Klamath Falls, Oregon.

You will see trains work their way up the Sacramento River Canyon to Dunsmuir, climb out of a box canyon with grades that reach 2.2%, reach the highest point on the Cascade Route at Grass Lake, and sprint through the high desert into Oregon.

Interesting locations covered in this DVD include the Redding Trestle, Pitt River Bridge, the famous Cantara Loop, Dry Canyon Viaduct, Dorris Tunnel and more! You will even see the largest operating steam locomotive in the world, Union Pacifics Challenger #3985 making a rare appearance in the Pacific Northwest!
